About the National Training Program

Anyone can attend - workshops participants come from all walks of life: community agency personnel, educators, neighborhood citizens, parents, government policymakers, volunteers, business people! The NCCE takes the first 35 people with fully paid registrations. The NCCE encourages teams of up to four people from the same agency, neighborhood, community or school district to attend workshops together.

The NCCE charges a nominal registration fee for all workshops. In return, the NCCE provides:

  • A full training program including staff, resource people, site visits, etc.
  • Instructional materials and resources
  • Free lodging (double occupancy)
  • Several group meals

Participants are responsible for:

  • Transportation to, from and during their workshop experience
  • A nominal registration fee
  • 100% participation in all workshop sessions

If you have any questions, please contact the NCCE through email, telephone (810.238.0463), toll free (800.811.1105), or fax (810.238.9211).
